DR. AUSTIN NEEDS YOUR PRAYERS.
On Saturday, February 8, Dr. Austin made a sudden phone call to
the medical emergency line. She was having trouble breathing. She was
unconscious when they arrived at her home and today she is still
unconscious and the test results are "not looking good." The doctor's
don't think that she is going to "make it."
Brothers and sisters, with God, nothing is impossible.
I spoke with her only son and told him I would ask you to join us in prayer for his mother. Please, take a minute now and pray for Sister Austin. We
would like for God to intervene and wake her up and restore her to
health; she is in His hands. Ultimately and most importantly, we are
praying that God's will would be done.
Dr. Austin attended our recently concluded evangelistic meeting in
Alabama--only intending to come for one night--and four months later
she has still been with us. While she already loved the Lord and loved
to study the Bible, she couldn't hide her joy after each Wednesday
night Bible study and Sabbath worship service because the beauty of
Jesus Christ in His Word had touched her heart with such force and
clarity.
Thank you, brothers and sisters, for joining us in prayer for
Sister Austin. Continue to pray and thank God for what He is doing and
what He will do through this situation.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and
supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
